Doshas Diet - a matter of balance
 
 
 
Foods for your dosha type:

Pitta - Pitta types require a diet that is cool, raw not heavy, not heavy spiced and not cooked with a lot of oil.  They should avoid fried and overly cooked food and be careful not to clog the liver with too rich diet.  Three regular meals are usually sufficient and avoid eating late at night.

General Pitta Type Foods

  • Butter, buttermilk, coconut (fresh), ice-cream, panir, flaxseeds, bitter melon, cucumber, radishes, spinach, squash, zucchini, pumpkin, grapefruit, lime, lychee, oranges, peaches, pomegranate, wheat, rice, oats, millet.
