What is skin pH?
pH stands for “potential of Hydrogen”. pH is a scale to measure the balance of acid base. A humans skin’s pH level is somewhere between 4.5-6.0. when this value goes beyond 6, the skin is problematic. Therefore it is necessary to chose products that will balance the pH levels of your skin. Garden of Eden herbal skin care products are internally approved by dermatologist and have a pH balancing effect on the skin.
Why is my skin so dry?
Dry skin usually has a low level of sebum, which is the skins natural lubricant. As the skin does not have enough sebum it dries out easily and is unable to retain the right amount of moisture needed for healthy skin. If your skin or your babies skin is quite dry, applying a chemical free moisturiser or natural oil twice a day with help replenish the moisture needed. A product rich in anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals (such as Garden of Eden Baby Oil), will help replenish moisture contact and gives the skin the nutrients it needs to maintain the correct sebum level.
Avoid HOT baths and showers and keep hydrated from the inside out with plenty of water. |
